Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle DeForest Buckner suffered a brutal injury during the second half of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.

Buckner entered the game questionable with a back injury after not practicing all week, and now he may be out with a longer injury.

During a play in the third quarter, Buckner made a tackle, but his ankle was caught underneath his body. Buckner's ankle was twisted very awkwardly.

Buckner was ruled out of the game near the end of the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.

The veteran defender couldn't put any weight on his right ankle and struggled to walk off the field with trainers under each arm. He tried to get off the bench but had to immediately sit back down.

Buckner then was carted to the locker room halfway through the fourth quarter.

Losing Buckner is a massive deal for the Colts. They don't have the depth behind him to make an impact, which means they will have to rely on Taven Bryan and Adetomiwa Adebawore.

We'll see what happens with Buckner's prognosis, but his absence will make a great deal to the Colts.
