Travis Kelce has made a career out of consistent high-level play at the tight end position for the Chiefs.

However, Kansas City's star hasn't been as productive as he usually is to begin the 2024 season. In Week 2 vs. the Bengals, Kelce's name wasn't mentioned very often early in the game as the Chiefs looked to start the season 2-0.

Here's what to know about Kelce's status vs. Cincinnati in Week 2 and his numbers in the matchup so far.

Is Travis Kelce playing in Week 2 vs. the Bengals?

Yes, Kelce is playing for the Chiefs against the Bengals in Week 2.

While he hasn't yet recorded a catch, Kelce is on the field as a big-time target for Patrick Mahomes. It isn't very easy to contain Kelce, one of the game's best tight ends to ever play, so he'll likely get more involved as the game moves along.

Is Travis Kelce injured?

No, Kelce is not injured.

He hasn't been very involved in the Chiefs' offense, but there have been no indications that Kelce is currently dealing with an injury.

Travis Kelce stats today

Midway through the second quarter vs. Cincinnati, the only statistic Kelce had recorded was a single target from Mahomes.

In Week 1, Kelce finished with three catches for 34 yards, a relatively quiet season-opening performance for the star.

However, the Chiefs' offense has been moving fine without much production from Kelce. Against the Ravens last week, they scored 27 points in a win, and they were up to 10 points in the matchup with the Bengals on Sunday.
