Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has been criticized by a club legend following a controversial goal celebration,

His stance on racism has been praised by figures within Spanish football, but others feel his criticism is to wide-ranging, and former director of football Predrag Mijatović has told him to reduce the focus on his performances.

"He's throwing stones on his own roof and especially knowing everything that is happening around him. He should take this step and calm down a little bit", as per reports from Marca.

"We were very happy with the goal, but disappointed with the celebration. Why does he need to do this? He does himself harm. I speak to many Real Madrid fans who love him but are upset with his behaviour."
