What have Man City been told amid 115 FFP charges: 'Not one rule broken'
Manchester City fans are on edge as their club faces 115 Financial Fair Play (FFP) charges, but team bosses have assured the players to stay calm.
City’s higher-ups are adamant that “not one rule has been broken” and are confident the club will emerge unscathed.
A hearing is set to begin on Monday, where evidence will be reviewed over the next 10 weeks. Despite the serious nature of the charges, City have maintained their innocence since they first surfaced in February 2023.
Former City defender Aymeric Laporte, now playing for Al-Nassr, revealed that when the news broke, the club’s sporting director and CEO assured the team there was nothing to worry about. Laporte said, “They told us everything was fine, so that’s why we all think City will be fine. Like Pep Guardiola always says, if something wrong has been done, they will have to pay for it.”

The hearing looms large on Man City
City could face a range of sanctions if found guilty, from points deductions to hefty fines, or even relegation.
However, fans will hope that just like in 2020 when the club overturned a Champions League ban for overstating sponsorship revenue, they will come out of this legal battle victorious.

Pep Guardiola, speaking ahead of the trial, stood by the club, emphasizing that “everyone is innocent until proven guilty.”
As the season continues, City are once again chasing a record-breaking fifth Premier League title in a row.
But with this looming over their heads, it’s clear the club is ready for what could be their toughest challenge yet—on and off the pitch. Let’s just hope the charges don’t “sponsor” an unexpected end to their dominance unless they are found guilty.
