After the New England Patriots were defeated by the Seattle Seahawks 23-20 in overtime on Sunday at Gillette Stadium, they'll hit the road again for a Week 3 Thursday night matchup against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
As the team prepares for the matchup, New England didn't practice on Monday, but they still complied with the NFL's rules and released an estimation of who would've practiced and who's dealing with injuries.
Five players wouldn't have participated - linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley (shoulder), center David Andrews (hip), offensive tackle Vederian lowe (knee), guard Sidy Sow (ankle) and Oshane Ximines (knee).
Linebacker Anfernee Jennings (knee), cornerback Marcus Jones (knee), offensive tackle Mike Onwenu (wrist), safety Jabrill Peppers (shoulder), guard Layden Robinson (shoulder) and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr, (shoulder).
New England's offensive line, which has struggled to begin with, may be tested even more in Week 3 with every single starter on this report.
The Jets did practice on Monday, and they listed linebackers Jermaine Johnson (Achilles) and C.J. Mosley (toe) as non-participants.
Cornerback Michael Carter II (ankle), offensive tackle Tyron Smith (rest) and cornerback D.J. Reed (knee) were limited.
Their lone full participant was running back Bree Hall (quadriceps).
