SportsLine's top basketball experts have revealed their Caitlin Clark prop picks and more for Connecticut Sun vs. Indiana Fever on Tuesday
By CBS Sports Staff • 2 min readCaitlin Clark's WNBA debut is approaching as the former Iowa phenom will lead the Indiana Fever against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday. It's a tough first task for Clark as she takes on a Sun squad that finished second in the East last year with a 27-13 overall record. Connecticut is a veteran-oriented team that is led by 2023 WNBA MVP runner-up Alyssa Thomas. Indiana's outlook has improved substantially with Clark, the all-time leading scorer in all of college basketball, on board, though oddsmakers give the Sun the clear edge for this debut matchup.
Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET at Mohegan Sun Arena. Connecticut is a 6.5-point favorite in the latest Sun vs. Fever odds, while the over/under for total points is 166. Caitlin Clark prop bets will also be extremely popular. Clark is +475 to score first in the game and her over/under for total points is 20.5. Before making any Fever vs. Sun picks or Caitlin Clark prop selections, be sure to see the WNBA predictions from SportsLine's Matt Severance and Calvin Wetzel.
Severance has gone 165-101 in his last 266 NBA picks, returning 24 units of profit. On NBA props, he has hit on 33 of his past 49 for eight units profit. Since the start of the 2021-22 women's college basketball campaign, Wetzel is an insane 1,384-988 (+371.33 units). Wetzel also predicted 66 of 68 NCAA Women's Tournament teams this year, as well as 62 of 68 teams within one seed line, and correctly picked 13 of 16 second-round games. Anybody following them has seen huge returns.
For Clark's debut in Sun vs. Fever on Tuesday, the experts have studied the odds and revealed their best bets. You can see all their Caitlin Clark picks at SportsLine.
