Brock Bowers fantasy football outlook after exploding in Week 2 win
He has arrived: Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers showed exactly why many believed he was a generational talent during the team's Week 2 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Bowers reeled in nine catches for 98 yards, both of which were career-highs. He now has 15 catches for 156 yards over his first two games. The 15 catches are the most ever for any Raiders rookie pass-catcher over their first two games, and his 156 receiving yards over two games are the most for a rookie tight end in franchise history, also.
This wasn't just a case of Bowers simply compiling stats, either. He was a major part of the offense and picked up some clutch catches in crucial spots that shows the Raiders and quarterback Gardner Minshew have a lot of trust in him.

The Raiders' quarterback situation was a major concern for Las Vegas pass-catchers going into the season, but Bowers has proven that is no longer a worry, if for no other reason than the fact that Minshew is peppering Bowers with targets.
The rookie tight end now has 17 over two games, which is the second-most on the team behind only No. 1 wide receiver Davante Adams. Adding to that, Minshew hasn't been bad over his first two games and the Raiders are throwing it a ton.
Bowers has officially crossed into TE1 territory after his impressive showing and is a must-start player moving forward. If he keeps this up, he will prove to be an unreal value based on what his average draft position was.
