Dani Carvajal ready to accept Real Madrid one-year extension despite Trent Alexander-Arnold links
Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal is ready to sign a one-year contract extension at the club before the end of 2024.
The Spanish international is into the final year of his current contract with Los Blancos but he is confident of a renewal with the La Liga champions.
Carvajal has played a crucial role for Real Madrid over the last decade, with six UEFA Champions League titles and four La Liga crowns, alongside a Euro 2024 win with Spain this summer.

Real Madrid remain committed to their policy of only offering 12-month extensions to players aged over 30, with Luka Modric an enduring example of the strategy, and 32-year-old Carvajal is ready to commit.
Getty ImagesAs per reports from Spanish outlet Marca, Carvajal has reiterated his first preference being a renewal in Madrid, if an agreement can be reached.
Carvajal stated he would not play for another European club, if he leaves Madrid, and his call is made in the knowledge of the Spanish giants considering a 2025 move for Liverpool Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Alexander-Arnold is also into the final year of his contract at Anfield with talks on a renewal yet to start on Merseyside.
