Final Week 2 injury report: Los Angeles Chargers could be without big names
The Los Angeles Chargers have released their final injury report ahead of their Week 2 matchup with the Carolina Panthers and the team could have some issues in this game with some of their key players.
Safety Alohi Gilman is listed as doubtful with a knee injury and Joey Bosa, Ja'Sir Taylor and Joshua Palmer have all drawn questionable tags, which generally means they will be a game-time decision.
The Chargers do play one of the weaker opponents on their schedule this season on Sunday, but there are no guarantees in the NFL, particularly on the road.

On if Tony Jefferson would be elevated: "That's possible."
The Chargers will have solid backup plans for all of these players but the loss of Gilman could be the most troubling as the safety position was suspect all offseason.
Elijah Molden will need to step up in Alohi Gilman's absence
The Chargers could turn to several players to help shore up the safety position with Gilman likely out. Elijah Molden, recently acquired in a trade with the Tennessee Titans and A.J. Finley will get the first looks. But veteran Tony Jefferson could also be elevated from the practice squad.
Gilman had four tackles in Week 1 and has established himself as one of the team's starting safeties now in his fifth season with the team. He missed three games last season after playing in all 17 in 2022.
The Chargers and Panthers will kick off at 10:00 am PT and the game will be televised on CBS.
